More food

Shot more dishes today for Melk.no. I think it went rather good, I'm way more confident about shooting food now than I was before this job. Learning by doing is a superb recipe. My assistent LK enjoyed some leftover smoothie. Yammi.

Eye Candy

By far the prettiest cellphoneads I've ever seen. Handpainted and nearly no retouch. Perfection.

Change of look

I decided to change the appearance of my blog, my eyes didn't really like to look at white text on black background so changed it to something a bit more delicate for the eyes. At least it is so in my opinion. Hopefully you like it as well.

Did some reprophotos today for Kitchen and Fretex, will shoot more photos for Melk.no the next couple of days and I'll also do a shoot for Kitchen and IF next week.

The Food Photographer

My fourth job in a row not shooting anything living. Kind of relaxing
but also stressful since I don't have that much experience with it. It
seems to turn out okey though.

Working overtime

After spending a couple of hours photographing animals yesterday I spent the rest of my sunday in front of my mac. Then continued early this morning after a couple of hours sleep. Now I see double so I'm heading home to rest before I have to spend about 12 hours on my mac again tomorrow. The most comprehensive photoshop-picture I've ever done. It will of course be posted once finished, I think I just passed 200 layers. Sweet.

Wet

I am out taking pictures of sheep, cows and horses to use in a commercial for Stratos. My shoes sank in mud so my poor feet swims. It
sucks.

Wood Elf

After two weeks with a lot of work and two weeks ahead also packed with work it felt great to spend a day out in the woods. Fresh air, silence, cake and nice company. Sweet.

Still Life

Shooting in the studio today, it's really relaxing to shoot things
that don't breath nor needs to smile. The pictures look good so far.

Crazy, Lazy, Hazy Days

I guess the tag team didn't have time to write Espen as well.

Had a funny shoot with Suddenly Oslo for Stratos on friday, will do another shoot for them tomorrow.
Had a great meeting with Melk.no yesterday and will shoot a catalogue for them two days next week and then two days the week after that. Today I have a shoot with Supertanker for LO and friday I'm shooting with DDB for Litteraturhuset. I'm trying to squeeze in a couple of fashion specs as well so busy days, but I need busy to be effective.

Locations

Been showing my portfolio to some adagencies these last days and the response has been very good so hopefully it will result in some jobs. Also went locationscouting for a shoot for Stratos next week, I think I've found the perfect spot. Will shoot some pictures for them tomorrow as well in the studio.
I'm still in the studio now even though it's approaching midnight, I really like to work late when it's dark outside and I'm all alone at the office. But time to go home and get some sleep now.

The portait is of my brother that's gonna help me get some props for a personal project I'll be doing in a couple of weeks. He is a great guy.

Photoshooting @ the Opera

Had a shoot in the Opera yesterday with the gorgeous and great singer Silvia Moi. Soon to be seen in Elle.
My assistant Lars Kristian felt the spirit of Fame.

Postcards

Been printing "postcards" like a madman today, I'm sending these out to people I have worked with so that they won't forget about me. Hopefully it works.

Another IF Commercial

I did this just before I went to holiday, had a lot of help from my good friend Martin to build the construction. Shot it separately before I photoshopped the insurance-guy in to the picture.

Elle & Switzerland

Spent a couple of days at Øyafestivalen this weekend, been great. This
week I'll shoot a portait for Elle and have meetings for two new
commercial shoots.

Eurotrip 2008 - Switzerland is extremely beautiful, highly recommended!!

Maybe. At least a serious contender. Needs to be watched a couple of times for full appreciation.

Nadav Kander

One of my favourite photographers, there is some sort of feeling/look on his pictures that I just fell instantly for when I saw his work for the first time. He can handle landscape, fashion, celebrity portraits and advertising for huge clients with the biggest of ease. All his work has some similarities to them as well, you can see that it is his work no matter the motive.

Scrapbook

I'm the first to admit that my scrapbook is updated way to rarely. But
it really helps to have one to write down ideas and collect other
peoples beautiful work. After six months with almost only work-related
photos being taken I really need to shoot more personal stuff like I
used to back in the good ol'days.

Back @ the office

After maybe the greatest summer ever I'm back in the studio. I'm eager
to create some nice work and have a succesfull fall. Looking forward to some
"live" blogging from my brand new iPhone. I love it!
