Summer Holiday

Had my last day of work yesterday and that means at least one month of
summer vacation. I feel like I've been exploiting the nice weather in
a good way considering I've been taking a swim everyday for the last 7
days.

Behinds

Did some productfilms for Hansen & Dysvik yesterday, and after a couple of days working 13-14 hours I'm getting more and more ready for a long summer holiday. Just a couple of more days now. :-)

Presentation

I'll be holding a presentation of my work and my "career" so far at Lista in September. That's gonna be a bit weird having maybe as many as a 100 people listening to what I, as a rookie, has to say. Guess I have to prepare myself a bit.

Last week included a lot of hassle with one of my jobs, unfortunately the client was not too happy with what I had done even though the ad agency liked it. Not sure how that saga ends really but it sucks anyhow, hopefully that won't happen again in some time. This week I'll do postproduction on the shoot for Radio Norge and I'll be shooting a new film for Hansen & Dysvik. I have one small shoot the very last day of June as well and then it's at least one month of well earned holiday.
Can't wait.

Shooting at Ekeberg Camping with nice people and lots of unhealthy
food. Yeah.

Sun Day

A fantastic day but I still have to put in some hours of work,
shooting for Ruter and collecting props for Monday.

Hansen & Dysvik - 3 for 2

Here is the final image and film we did for Hansen & Dysvik.
Will be making a new movie next friday and most likely even one more before the holiday.

Paradise Island

Spent the day shooting some ads for Ruter and Kitchen at Langøyene today. "Thankfully" it was not the biggest budget so all the models were good friends of mine and when the art director is the always sweet Mr. Torkel the day had to be nice. And it was, I think the pictures will turn out pretty good as well.
Went by a submarine on the way out, fænsi.

Tuesday

In a couple of hours I'm heading to Stange to photograph a pig. Oink. I'll be shooting three images for Ruter on thursday, assigned by Kitchen. Next week I'll shoot two images for Radio Norge with Los & Co and I'll probably shoot two more commercials for Hansen & Dysvik. More than enough work to finish off a superb 6 months. Yeah.

Found this beautiful flower amongst all the weed yesterday.

Animals

Shot some pictures for a campaign coming up concerning ecologic food. Went to a beautiful location with tons of horses, sheeps, cows, etc. A really nice day. Will travel a couple of hours on tuesday to shoot some pigs.
I might do a job for Kitchen next week as well. And I'll do a job for Radio Norge in about a weeks time.

The Weekend of My Life

I have had probably the best weekend ever. With the insane weather that has been throughout, our activity level and all the nice people I know it's been perfect. Started out with a barbecue at my friend Birger on friday. Saturday we headed out to Hovedøya for the first bath of the season. Then my lovely girlfriend took me out to Palace Grill for a surprise birthday dinner, probably the best meal I have ever had. Crazy. Sunday it was time for some more swimming and hanging out at Langøyene. Some friends of ours came out as well, then we headed to the park at Uranienborg for selfmade dinner before we finished the evening with some snacks and a dvd. Yesterday was my birthday and after receiving a superkool bag from my girlfriend we headed out for breakfast and then to Østernvann. Spent the entire evening there and took the last swim as the sun went down sometime between 9 and 10 pm. Lovely.

I have to blog before I'm off for the weekend. Met these two ubercool cats in Sofienbergparken the other day. They were shooting some homemade movie and I had to take their portrait.

Hansen & Dysvik - Sommerdyne

Hansen & Dysvik - Høie

This is the first film that I made in collaboration with Los & Co ad agency and Toxic postproduction. It was quite a challenge since I had never shot stills to be used as a movie before. I mounted the camera in the ceiling and shot everything from my mac. I think this film consists of about 300 images.

This video is 16:9 but somehow it looks really strange when I upload it. Not sure why? Please bear that in mind when watching.

The sun makes the weekend so much better. Thankfully it was around almost the entire time. Back to work now, finishing a couple of last weeks work. Another job is also coming up to be shot next week. These are some shots from the last couple of days. My girlfriend and I bought matching t-shirts of course.

17th of May

Is our National Day here in Norway and that had to be celebrated of course. After laying in my bed with fever a couple of days I was happy I could participate at all. Had a superb day with great food, superb friends and heavenly weather. Now I'm back at work editing the shoot I did with Try last week. Tomorrow I'll be shooting for Oktan.
